It has been too long since my last. I am here and now making an effort to try and do much better at blogging. I have been really run ragged, but I don’t know what I have been doing. Just spent!
Enought whining. Training is going…well, it’s going. I am at the end of week two, have my last 4 mile run and now it starts to build. Each day is encouragement and I see why people do a program to train, it really does help. I am excited and actually look forward to crossing off the runs on my calendar. So I guess it is going rather well.
The other news is I AM HEADED TO THE UK! David and I are taking a trip in March to celebrate our 10 year Anniversary in May (cost is the reason for the early trip). I am SO thrilled. This is not my first trip to London-town, but it is for David. I am so very excited for him to see the “old world” and what it has to offer. We are going for 7 days and are camping out the first 3 nights in Central London and then we are vagabonds. We may go here, or there, or just stay put in a little B&B in Notting Hill. Who knows. Any suggestions are welcome.
I would like to get tickets to a soccer (football) game. I don’t think I can afford Chelsea or Manchester United, but there are 6 teams in London alone, so maybe one of the lesser ones. If not, Chelsea has a game and we may just hit the local pub to watch. We are also NOT going to see the following:
-Windsor Castle or tower
-Changing of the Guard
-Crown Jewels
Etc. Etc.
St. Paul’s is a must and we are going to Mass there, so it will be free. I love Westminster Abby, but I don’t know if David will care for it. There are some free Walking tours on iTunes, and those are awesome.
I would like to get my hair done over there, but again, we will see on cost!
Needless to say we are thrilled. David’s parents are coming up to stay with the children, so they will have a blast too.
Steppin’ over the pond!
