We finally made it. Almost 4 days after we inteded too, but that is neither here nor there.
I had to tell David thank you again last night, for the incredible home. This was the first time I walked into our new home from a trip and I loved it! It is larger, cleaner and smells new! No stained carpet at the entryway. Only time, I know.
I took the boys (all 5, we have Connor and Ryan and left Millie at my parents) to Whole Foods for breakfast and sat down with a nice cup of Joe and a gingerbread muffin. It was yummy! Since I didn’t have the moomster with me, I sat alone at a table and stared blankly at the wall. It was nice.
Now we are home and some are outside, some are in, but no screaming. Have some standards playing in the background and candles lit. My kind of day.
