Breathe in, Breathe out. June 27, 2008

This simple task, I feel I need to remind myself of.  Craziness right now.  Single Motherhood and drama, don’t mix.  I am learning that drama with anything doesn’t mix.  A little to much of that in my life period.

-Took the boys to see Prince Caspian yesterday.  Great movie.  I have a Kindergarten Crush on Caspian, even Peter at some points, until he talked or side shots of them with bad posture, a sign of weakness to me.  Anywho, I wept through most of it, my boys not understanding why.  The thruline of Trust was breathe taking.  This just constantly hits me and hits.  When will I get it?!  I am scared to take the step to actually trust, I must believe in redemption.  I see it, taste it and know it, but I must believe it in order to let go.  Too deep a notion for now.

-Our van.  Our lovely deal of a van.  The transmission must be taken out and a new one put in.  Painful?  Yes.   Devastating?  No.  At the end of the day, it is just money, money we don’t have, but money nonetheless.  We caught before we were in an accident, and are at my parents where I have help and other cars are accessible.  God is watching out for us, and I know it.

-Swimming.  The whole family (minus David :-(    ) went swimming tonight.  It was  a blast, diving contest, biggest splash competition (Uncle Chad KILLED everybody on this event), relay races, etc.  Logan is doing so well this summer.  Brennan is getting better and better and Eli’s version of a dive?!  Too funny to even think about.  A belly smacker with his hands in the shark position.  Millie enjoys it too, but again too much drama.

-I will post pictures tomorrow of our trip downtown today.  It was great and after our first attempt yesterday (1/2 way noticed car troubles)  the day was redeemed.

-Ending with coffee with old friends (some of whom I never thought I would be sitting at a table with) makes me again see God’s love and redemption constantly.

Peace be with you (as I ponder my issues)
